The transition from traditional tobacco to electronic cigarettes is a
big decision, and we're here to make that process as seamless as
possible. We test and review a variety of different starter kits that allow you to
choose your battery colors, cartomizer flavors, nicotine level, and
charging options. Need help with recommendations? Take a look at some of
our suggestions.
What Flavors should I Try?
If you are currently a regular tobacco, non-menthol smoker, we
recommend our traditional 'tobacco' blends that most closely resemble the taste of tobacco
cigarettes.
For menthol smokers, we highly recommend a Menthol
flavor, which most closely resembles a Menthol Cigarette. The Mint
flavors are also an excellent alternative.
If you're feeling particularly adventurous, we'd suggest some of our
more exotic blends including, dessert flavors like
Vanilla, Chocolate, and Coffee, and fruit blends like Grape, Strawberry, and Apple, to name a few.
Which Nicotine Level is Right For Me?
To give you an idea, an average pack of Medium level tobacco cigarettes
has about 20 mg of nicotine in it. With that said, the most popular
sellers are 11, 16, and 24 mg. If you are a light smoker, we recommend
11 mg. For medium level smokers, we recommend 16 mg. And if you are a
heavier smoker that smokes 'Full' blend cigarettes, we recommend 24 mg
of nicotine. Keep in mind, these are recommendations, but based on
customer feedback, we think these are appropriate starting points. As
always, if you are not completely satisfied with your initial choice,
you can make changes to your next order to better fit your needs.
How Many Batteries Should I Get? And What Size?
If you are a light smoker, e.g. a half a pack/day or less, we recommend
a starter kit with one battery. If you smoke a half a pack/day or more
we recommend a starter kit with two batteries. With two batteries, you
are less likely to find yourself wanting a cigarette if one of your batteries
runs out, and you're without a charger. For heavier smokers this can be
slightly more problematic, and so we suggest always having a backup.
Which Charger is Right For Me?
If you work at an office or from home, and you are consistently next to
a computer or an outlet, a USB/Wall charger will work for you. However,
if you are constantly on the move, and don't have access to either a
computer or electrical outlet throughout the day
